Owner and Head Trainer Maddy Long has been professionally training dogs of all ages for the past few years, specializing in puppy development and training as well as obedience and behavior modification for dogs of all ages.
She is a true Carolinian, living and working, in both South Carolina and North Carolina for her entire life. Maddy has been a Vet Tech and worked in two amazing Veterinary Practices in both states. Helping her gain an intense amount of  knowledge of both canine health and wellness. With this knowledge she is able to service each client's dog individually and assist with whole dog transformations.
Maddy has successfully trained and worked with dozens of pets and their families throughout the years and found her passion working and training obedience and building the foundation of puppy obedience while working for a Charleston SC breeding program.
In 2023, after relocating from Charleston SC, Maddy started her own pet care business where she services the upstate and foothills areas. She has committed to her dream of having her own small private facility built on her and her fiances amazing farm, and this year the dream has become an exciting project and  reality . Our goal at Maddy's Canine Campus is to help you have a better relationship with your dog. Understanding what motivates your pet and cultivating relationships to support long term success in having a happy and healthy dog.

When your pet boards and trains at Maddy’s Canine Campus, they are given the chance to JUST BE A DOG. After all, they never asked for us to leash their necks and be pulled around. We understand that every single dog is different, and we encourage them to be well balanced and well mannered. Every dog is unique, so their training should be too. 


Maddy is committed to ongoing professional development and education. Maddy has completed the K9 Institute Service Dog program and has thousands of hours working hands-on with canines. In addition to Maddy being a seasoned Vet Tech,  she is an evaluator for the AKC. She uses her medical knowledge to provide professional care to her trainees. Using positive reinforcement has been a very effective method for teaching, and Maddy has seen great success throughout the years.

When dogs board or train at Maddy’s Canine Campus, they are welcomed as part of the pack and  join the family dynamic.  Being on a 60 acre farm, the pup gets to exude energy daily while being able to run freely in large open fields.
